I don't know the future. I didn't come here to tell you how this is going to end. I came here to tell you how it's going to begin. I'm going to hang up this phone, and then I'm going to show these people what you don't want them to see. I'm going to show them a world without you. A world without rules and controls, without borders or boundaries; a world where anything is possible. Where we go from there is a choice I leave to you.

Is Trans-Pacific Partnership agreement the End of Democracy?
Jul 5, 2012 by TheAlyonaShow
All this week, there have been secretive negotiations going on in San Diego over the TPP, the Trans-Pacific Partnership agreement. It could be the biggest trade agreement in US history, and it also, leaves room for expansion. So far, the countries included are the US, Australia, Brunei, Chile, Malaysia, New Zealand, Peru, Singapore, Vietnam, Mexico and Canada. The problem is, we know very little about it. The Obama administration has resisted transparency in these negotiations, to the point where even Senator Ron Wyden, chair of the Senate Trade Committee, has been denied access to a draft of the 26 chapter treaty. What we do know, has come out in leaks. Alyona discusses what we do know with Josh Eidelson, a contributing writer at Salon.
