News on the persecution of Myanmar's Rohingya Muslims has continued: At least three people were killed in fresh violence, over 80 for the month of June, while figures could be a lot higher. On the political side, the UN called for an independent investigation into their massacre. The Organization of Islamic Cooperation, O-I-C, meanwhile proposed a mission to Myanmar to also probe the recent massacres and try and get the Myanmar government to accept their findings as fact.
