The Yemeni army and popular forces heavily pounded the positions of the Saudi-backed militants in Ta'iz and Hajjah provinces, killing several of them and destroying their military hardware. At least five Saudi-backed militias were killed and an armored military hardware was destroyed in the Yemeni forces' attacks in Ta'iz and Hajjah. Meantime, a military source close to the Yemeni army said that another military vehicle of the Riyadh-backed militants was destroyed in the surrounding areas of Midi desert in Hajjah province. Two militants were killed in the attack, he added. He also said that five Saudi-backed militias were also killed in an exchange of fire with the Yemeni forces in Saleh district East of the city of Ta'iz.

Meantime, the positions of the Riyadh-backed militias in the Southern part of Dhubab came under the Yemeni forces' artillery and missile attacks which resulted in the death of a number of militias.

In relevant remarks on Monday, security sources in Yemen said that 7 Saudi-backed militias have been killed in the Yemeni forces' attack on the Eastern parts of Ta'iz city. Al-Masira news channel quoted a local Yemeni military source as saying that the Yemeni army and Ansarullah forces attacked Ab'ar and Salah region in Eastern Ta'iz and inflicted 7 losses on the Saudi-hired mercenaries. They also targeted the Saudi forces' positions in the Northern parts of al-Mahdaf military base and al-Madresa village as well as Kars Joubah in Jizan province, Southern Saudi Arabia.

The artillery units of the Yemeni army and Ansarullah also blew up the Saudi militias' gathering centers in the Southern parts of Zabab city near Bab al-Mandab. Norwegian Official: Saudi Arabia is the kingdom of terrorism and involved in financing ISIS

S. Arabia Recruits 350 Comorian Militias for Yemen War

Informed sources disclosed that 350 militias have been sent from Comoros Island in East Africa to Saudi Arabia and then to Yemen to join the Riyadh-backed troops in the war on the poorest Arab nation. According to the sources, Riyadh pays 1,000 euros to the Comorian militias every month to fight for the country in Yemen. The sources said using the Comorian forces is part of the Israeli-US plan to recruit military men from different African countries, including Senegal, Djibouti and Eritrea, to fight against the Yemeni army and Ansarullah forces.

Sources said in September that Riyadh has transferred nearly 5,000 militants from a number of terrorist groups from Aden port to Eritrea's Assab port to go under military trainings and then be sent to the Saudi provinces bordering Yemen. "The terrorists, some of whom are from the Al-Qaeda, will be dispatched to Najran, Jizzan and Asir provinces to fight against the Yemeni army and popular forces and prevent their further advances in Southern Saudi Arabia," the sources stated. They added that the Yemeni forces' advances deep inside the Saudi territories have frightened the Saudi officials more than the ballistic missiles fired from Yemen.

Saudi Arabia has been striking Yemen since March 2015 to restore power to fugitive president Mansour Hadi, a close ally of Riyadh. The Saudi-led aggression has so far killed at least 13,100 Yemenis, including hundreds of women and children. Despite Riyadh's claims that it is bombing the positions of the Ansarullah fighters, Saudi bombers are flattening residential areas and civilian infrastructures. According to several reports, the Saudi-led air campaign against Yemen has drove the impoverished country towards humanitarian disaster.
