"Come Help Us!" - Terrorists From Hama Countryside - Fort Russ

The terrorists of Al Nusra Front and their allies from Hayat Tahrir Al Sham, operating in the Northern countryside of Hama, are panicking as it seems that their major-scale offensive, initially started on March 22nd, will soon become history.

After meeting with severe losses in the past 48 hours (they lost approx.50 of their fighters), they have now called on all fellow groups, fighting against the Syrian Army, to help them.

In the meantime, the Syrian Army is preparing for an assault on the strategic town of Helfaya, following yesterday’s military victory over Taibat Al Imam, another strategically important town.

But the northern countryside of Hama wasn’t the only place where terrorists had to face devastating results. In Darra Al Balad area of Daraa province, army units continued their efforts against Al Nusra Front terrorists and their allies. Scores of terrorists were killed when their positions were hit, in addition to destruction of their weapons, equipment and vehicles.

The Syrian Army also managed to establish control over the Zabadani mountains, located in the countryside of Damascus, for the first time since the outbreak of war in 2011. An underground tunnel, connecting the towns of Madaya and Baqin, was discovered yesterday, but has been blown-up since.

Aside from that, new attempts against ISIS were made in the province of Deir Ez Zour. An ISIS infiltration was thwarted at the southern outskirts of Deir Ez Zour city, resulting in the killing of 5 ISIS terrorists and destruction of their arms and ammunition stockpiles.

The terrorists, however, keep attacking the civilians. Earlier on Friday afternoon, two shells fell on Al Adawi neighbourhood in Damascus and injured three people.

Tens of terrorists were killed and dozens more were injured during the Syrian army's operations in other provinces across Syria.

The Syrian army units engaged in clashes with the ISIL terrorists who had attacked several military points from Ibn Arsan and Saniyat al-Mazibeleh regions and Sawaneh al-Mahseh mountain and al-Quaryatayn dam in Eastern Homs, and repelled their attack after killing and wounding several terrorists.

The Syrian army, supported by the air force, continued military operations against al-Nusra Front (also known as Fatah al-Sham Front or the Levant Liberation Board) in Eastern Damascus and won control of several points in al-Qaboun district.

The army units heavily clashed with the terrorists in the Northeastern parts of al-Qaboun and drove them out of several farms and residential blocks.

They also attacked the al-Nusra Front's positions in al-Qaboun district and its supply routes in Jobar, killing several terrorists.

Earlier on Thursday, the Syrian ground and air force units destroyed several terrorist bases in al-Qaboun district.

The army units targeted the al-Nusra's position in al-Qaboun with missile and artillery fire.

The Syrian fighter jets, meantime, launched repeated attacks against the terrorists in the Eastern and Southern parts of al-Qaboun, blowing up several positions and killing a number of militants.

The Syrian air force also attacked the terrorists' supply routes in regions between Jobar district and the town of Ain Tarma in Eastern Ghouta.

The air force also heavily pounded the al-Nusra's hideouts and moves in Arabayan city, the Northern farms of Harasta, the Northern Parts of Douma and the gardens between Douma and Harasta.

The Syrian army and resistance forces started a new round of massive assaults in Northern Hama on Thursday morning to capture the strategic town of Halfaya.

The army and its allies engaged in heavy clashes with the terrorists from the direction of the town of Mahrada in the West and Sansahar checkpoint in the South.
