A source in Salamiyah city's National Hospital said that 51 people were killed and 100 more were wounded in ISIL's attack in a village in Hama.
"Fifty-one dead and over 100 wounded, these are the final numbers regarding the victims of the ISIL's attack on Aqareb al-Safi village," the source told Sputnik.
Aqareb al-Safi is situated in a strategically important geographical position due to its location near the M5 North-South motorway linking Aleppo to other Syrian provinces.
The Syrian army along with it popular allies have been fighting against numerous terrorist groups, including the ISIL, within a civil war that has lasted for more than six years.

US-Led Coalition Strikes Syrian Army Positions near Border with Jordan, Iraq
A US defense official disclosed that the US-led coalition struck the Syrian forces' positions near the border town of al-Tanf in a region of an established deconfliction zone with Russia.
The Russian Sputnik quoted a US-led coalition spokesperson as saying that the coalition forces in Southern Syria struck the Syrian army's positions.
The Sputnik added that the coalition strikes reportedly occurred near al-Tanf , where US' and British special forces have been training Syrian militants near the border with Iraq and Jordan.
"The strike did happen. It was against pro-government forces' strongholds in the vicinity of al-Tanf. The pro-government force was within a well-established deconfliction zone," the defense official told Sputnik.
"The commander on the ground perceived this force to be a threat to coalition forces," the defense official said.

The predominately Kurdish Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) continued the fourth phase of the anti-ISIL Euphrates Rage Operation in Raqqa and managed to capture three more villages, closing off the last supply line of the terrorists to the ISIL-held city of Raqqa in Northeastern Syria.
The SDF engaged in fierce clashes with the ISIL East of Raqqa city and managed to seize control over the villages of Hamra Qanam, Hamra Ablu Yatiyeh and Madar.
Field sources confirmed that the last supply line of ISIL terrorists to Raqqa city was cut off after the SDF took control over the village of Hamra Qanam.
The ISIL lost a number of forces in the SDF advances.
Relevant reports said on Thursday that the SDF seized control of the village of Badr in the Eastern parts of Raqqa and the wheat silos near the village after two days of clashes with the ISIL terrorists.
Also in the Northwestern parts of Raqqa, the SDF forces could take control over the villages of al-Andules, Mazloum and Falaj after heavy clashes with the terrorists and killing tens of them.
They also took control of two strategic villages of Abdullah and Kobra in the Northern and Northwestern parts of Raqqa as well as 17 farms.
